what a bug!

So I was wandering around the house and I looked outside. This is what I saw:
What kind of crazy bug is this? It was almost as big as my thumb!

    Looks kind of like a long necked seed bug. Lane enjoyed the pictures. He was able to use his National Audubon Society Field Guide to Insects and Spiders since he had a picture.
